On December 10, 2025—International Human Rights Day—human rights protests and commemorative events were held in Vienna, Austria, and Geneva, Switzerland. Tibetans, Christians from The Church of Almighty God, and representatives of multiple international human rights and religious organizations took part in the gatherings. Speaking from their personal experiences, they denounced the Chinese Communist Party’s long-standing persecution of religious beliefs, systematic violations of fundamental human rights, and expansion of its repression beyond China’s borders. They called on the international community to confront China’s grave human rights crisis and to take concrete action to protect freedom of religion and belief.
