On January 24, 2026, the annual “Peace Day” event was held in Rho, Milan, Italy. This year’s theme was “Homeland: Source of Peace, Victims of War.” Groups from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds gathered together, raising a united voice to call on society to confront the profound and lasting trauma that wars and conflicts have left on families and individuals. The event was jointly organized by the Department of Peace (Assessorato alla Pace), the Migrant Citizens’ Council (Consiglio Cittadino Migranti), the Oasi Multicultural Association (Associazione Multiculturale Oasi), and the Peace Coordination in the Municipality of Rho (Coordinamento Pace in Comune di Rho).
