Rally in Geneva Highlights Human Rights Concerns in China, Amid 61st Human Rights Council Session

On February 28, 2026, the 61st session of the Human Rights Council opened in Geneva. On the same day, the Tibetan Community in Switzerland & Liechtenstein (TCSL) held a rally at Place des Nations, calling on the international community to pay attention to the human rights situation in China. More than 80 people participated in the event, including the president and vice president of TCSL, representatives of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, representatives of the Swiss-Tibetan Friendship Association (GSTF, Die Gesellschaft Schweizerisch-Tibetische Freundschaft), as well as Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG) and other house churches.
