On Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12:00 to 13:00 local time, Hongkonger in Germany (HKDE), together with Amnesty International Frankfurt District and the Association for the Defense of Human Rights and Religious Freedom (ADHRRF), held a striking silent art protest at the heart of the Frankfurt Book Fair — one of the world’s largest cultural events.
It was another action following the global “Everything is Fine” campaign launched in June this year.
Hongkongers, Uyghurs, and Christians used a silent performance to denounce censorship and oppression under CCP rule, exposing the regime’s false propaganda at the book fair and calling on the international community to pay attention to freedom of speech and religion in China.
