A petition calling on Washington to take up the case of coronavirus reporter Chen Qiushi, who is being held by the authorities in enforced "quarantine" after he reported from the front line of the COVID-19 epidemic, has garnered tens of thousands of signatures since it was posted last month.

ADHRRF – To avoid the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) arrest and persecution, 310 Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG) fled to Germany where they applied for political asylum. However, 80% of their asylum applications were denied, and 14 of them received departure orders, which put them at the imminent risk of deportation to China. This harsh condition has aroused the attention of the Society for Threatened Peoples (STP) in Germany.

Recently, Human Rights Without Frontiers International issued a document on its official website, urging the authorities of all European Union member states to grant political asylum to Christians of The Church of Almighty God (CAG), who have fled overseas due to the brutal persecution against their faith.

These are difficult times for refugees. Europe is understandably concerned that economic migrants may try to pass themselves off as refugees. However, there are obviously real refugees.
