On the morning of July 22, 2019, more than 30 Christians of The Church of Almighty God (CAG) held a press conference at the Fountain Square in front of the Blue House, strongly protesting against the CCP for inducing and coercing CAG Christians’ family members in China into coming to South Korea and staging false demonstrations under the name of “Searching for Relatives.” During the press conference, CAG Christians told their real stories of cruel persecution at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), attracting attention from the passing tourists and local people. After Ms. O, a pro-CCP activist, saw that her purposes behind organizing false demonstrations were brought to light, she became irritated and rushed toward the Christians, trying to disrupt CAG’s press conference. She even offended some reporters, accusing them of not being on her side. Despite the intervention of the security guards present, which Ms. O completely ignored, she kept filming these Christians with her cellphone and accused them of being fake refugees.
