China Collecting DNA From All Uyghurs in Xinjiang Under Guise of Free Physicals - ASSOCIATION FOR THE DEFENSE OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
Authorities are collecting DNA samples and other biometric data from all residents aged 12-65 of northwest China’s Xinjiang region, which is home to more than 11 million Muslim ethnic Uyghurs, under the pretext of a free health care program, a leading human rights group said Wednesday.
